Christian Dior Couture seeks an experienced Menswear Department Manager at Selfridges, London. Lead a luxury boutique team and drive sales excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the department's sales performance and service standards, maximising revenue whilst minimising resource wastage
- Orchestrate effective merchandising displays and promotional material placement to reflect current demand and drive sales conversion
- Lead by example in client acquisition and development of client loyalty through sophisticated CRM activities and relationship building
- Achieve boutique capture rate and mystery result targets through strategic performance monitoring
- Oversee staff recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and development; establish succession planning and conduct regular appraisals
- Maintain full knowledge of back-office functions including CRM systems, P&L analysis, store reporting, stock control, and visual merchandising guidelines
- Ensure correct basic stock levels and provide effective feedback to ensure timely replenishment of popular selling lines
- Control stock loss within budget parameters and implement effective stock audits and loss prevention protocols
- Conduct morning briefings and motivate team members to achieve department objectives and personal targets
- Maintain strict adherence to company health, safety, and security procedures; train staff on cash handling, credit authorisation, and loss reporting
- Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and retail presentation within the concession
- Participate in stock takes outside normal working hours as required to ensure smooth operational continuity
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of retail management experience, ideally within the luxury sector
- Strong expertise in menswear and comprehensive knowledge of fashion trends and seasonal collections
- Proven ability to lead and motivate retail teams whilst building strong team cohesion
- Exceptional customer service acumen with demonstrated success in client relationship management
- Commercial mindset with proven track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs
- Passion for the Christian Dior brand and its collections
- Full knowledge of retail back-office systems, P&L management, and merchandise analytics

Experience
Minimum 5 years of retail management experience, ideally in luxury retail or premium menswear. Demonstrated success in leading teams, driving sales performance, and managing all operational aspects of a high-performing retail department.
