Christian Dior Couture Media Director in Shanghai — lead integrated luxury fashion media strategy across China. 15+ years required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual media strategy for Christian Dior Couture aligned with global direction and local business objectives
- Lead media management across Leather Goods, Ready-to-Wear (Men's and Women's), and Watch & Jewelry categories
- Manage media budget across digital (social, search, programmatic, video), print, OOH, and experiential channels to maximize ROI and brand equity
- Direct media communication and rollout plans for major brand events (runway shows, exhibitions) in China
- Collaborate with Central Media team to develop China media strategies, co-create creative assets, and secure premium media partnerships
- Partner with E-commerce and CRM teams to orchestrate seamless omnichannel customer journeys
- Serve as primary contact for global and local media agencies, negotiating contracts and setting KPIs
- Conduct performance reviews and ensure agency accountability against agreed objectives
- Identify and test new media platforms and formats to maintain competitive advantage
- Utilize media monitoring and market insights to evaluate campaign effectiveness on sentiment, reach, and brand desirability
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing internal media team fostering excellence and continuous learning
- Present regular reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership

- 15+ years of experience in media, communications, or public relations with strong luxury brand or fashion background
- Proven track record leading and managing media teams
- Extensive network of key media contacts within the luxury fashion industry
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Strategic thinking with ability to align media initiatives with broader business objectives
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (required)
