Parfums Christian Dior seeks Media Director in Shanghai for luxury beauty campaigns across China's premium digital platforms. 10+ years required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design annual and campaign-level media plans for Skincare, Makeup, and Fragrance categories, dynamically managing budgets to achieve Reach, SOV, Traffic, and Engagement KPIs
  • Lead full-funnel media strategies spanning upper-funnel awareness campaigns (Digital OOH, OTV/CTV, high-impact placements) through mid-funnel social and digital tactics driving engagement and offline counter traffic
  • Execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key platform partners including Alibaba, ByteDance, Tencent, and RED to secure premium resources and pioneer innovative ad formats
  • Develop O2O media campaigns that successfully drive offline retail counter traffic whilst maximizing online e-commerce GMV and search visibility across Xiaohongshu, WeChat, Baidu, and Douyin
  • Amplify KOL and celebrity content through paid media channels whilst maintaining brand safety and luxury positioning
  • Collaborate with Trade Marketing on regional 360-degree events and with Performance Media teams to ensure e-commerce synergy and cross-channel alignment
  • Oversee agency pitches, performance reviews, and comprehensive audits encompassing viewability, brand safety, and ad fraud detection
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage relationships with cross-agency partners to execute integrated campaigns

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of media management experience, with substantial working experience in high-end fashion and beauty as an in-house executive or agency professional
  • Proven track record leading both Brand Media and Performance Media portfolios simultaneously
  • Deep expertise in China's digital media landscape and omni-channel retail mechanics
  • Expert proficiency with major Chinese digital platforms: Alibaba (Wanxiangtai/Databank), ByteDance (Ocean Engine/Yuntu), Tencent, Xiaohongshu, and Baidu
  • Advanced analytical capabilities including attribution modeling, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), ROAS optimization, CAC calculation, and full-funnel measurement
  • Demonstrated ability to design campaigns that successfully drive both offline conversion and online GMV whilst maintaining luxury brand standards
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, both written and spoken
