Role & Responsibilities
- Read and interpret production technical specifications (Di.ba) and requirements to plan cutting and calculate material consumption optimization, targeting maximum waste reduction
- Execute with precision the placement and cutting of hides and other materials, continuously assessing quality and identifying defects
- Monitor actual consumption and proactively propose corrective actions to improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate actively with pattern-making and industrialization departments to harmonize processes and ensure compliance with production schedules
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably within luxury maisons
- In-depth knowledge of leather, textiles, and exotic materials
- Proficiency with CAD systems and information management software
- Strong technical analysis and problem-solving capabilities
