Master Data Manager at Parfums Christian Dior, Orléans. Lead data governance and manage a team of 10 across supply chain operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a Master Data team of approximately ten professionals structured across three core pillars: article management, supplier management, and customer management
- Ensure data governance by enforcing established management rules, standards, and defined processes across all brands
- Actively participate in cross-functional transformation projects impacting Master Data, particularly those affecting the perfumes and cosmetics group
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and drive initiatives to optimize processes, tools, and organizational structure
- Monitor data anomalies, coordinate corrective actions, and maintain data quality standards over time
- Ensure compliance with internal control requirements, regulatory obligations, and existing procedures
- Manage data for hazardous materials, eco-packaging, GDSN, and other specialized data categories
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, IT, Internal Controls, Legal, Marketing, and Operations teams
- Conduct team meetings and facilitate cross-functional coordination to position Master Data as a central lever for group success
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Master Data, Data Management, or reference data governance within complex, structured, and international environments
- Proven management experience with demonstrated ability to lead, organize, and develop team members
- Strong expertise in data quality governance and data reference management
- Advanced proficiency with ERP SAP systems and enterprise information systems
- In-depth knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes
- Excellent project management capabilities and experience leading organizational transformation initiatives
- Fluent English language skills required for international communication
- Strong understanding of internal control and compliance frameworks
