Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a Master Data team of approximately ten professionals structured across three core pillars: article management, supplier management, and customer management
  • Ensure data governance by enforcing established management rules, standards, and defined processes across all brands
  • Actively participate in cross-functional transformation projects impacting Master Data, particularly those affecting the perfumes and cosmetics group
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and drive initiatives to optimize processes, tools, and organizational structure
  • Monitor data anomalies, coordinate corrective actions, and maintain data quality standards over time
  • Ensure compliance with internal control requirements, regulatory obligations, and existing procedures
  • Manage data for hazardous materials, eco-packaging, GDSN, and other specialized data categories
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, IT, Internal Controls, Legal, Marketing, and Operations teams
  • Conduct team meetings and facilitate cross-functional coordination to position Master Data as a central lever for group success

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Master Data, Data Management, or reference data governance within complex, structured, and international environments
  • Proven management experience with demonstrated ability to lead, organize, and develop team members
  • Strong expertise in data quality governance and data reference management
  • Advanced proficiency with ERP SAP systems and enterprise information systems
  • In-depth knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes
  • Excellent project management capabilities and experience leading organizational transformation initiatives
  • Fluent English language skills required for international communication
  • Strong understanding of internal control and compliance frameworks
