Role & Responsibilities
- Lead budget and forecast processes for North American Capex across USA and Canada markets, establishing expertise in this critical P&L domain
- Own full P&L scenario planning for Direct-to-Consumer operations and conduct monthly reviews and budget planning cycles with key stakeholders
- Contribute to ROI analysis of Capex and Opex projects through comprehensive analysis and recommendations to support commercial, operational, and strategic initiatives
- Challenge costs and cost allocations to drive financial performance and optimize resource utilization
- Guarantee accuracy of monthly and quarterly financial reports, ensuring timely submission to headquarters and adherence to all deadlines
- Monitor performance indicators, identify and analyze trends, and investigate causes of unexpected variances
- Provide management and departments with monthly financial reports and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints
- Analyze actual versus plan results and communicate underlying variance drivers to senior management with clarity and actionable insight
- Own Canada media and public relations expense management and communicate financial results and forecasts to internal stakeholders
- Actively participate in monthly close processes with strong understanding of P&L and balance sheet drivers
- Support ad hoc reports, projects, and special initiatives as required by the leadership team
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis roles
- Experience within the luxury goods sector is highly desirable
- Demonstrated strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with capacity to challenge assumptions
- Proficient in developing and utilizing sophisticated financial models to support strategic decision-making
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex financial information to diverse audiences including senior leadership
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in fast-paced environments with superior organizational skills
- Meticulous and inquisitive approach to financial data analysis with consistent focus on understanding underlying drivers
