Parfums Christian Dior, Shanghai – Beauty Advisor role delivering luxury retail sales and client advisory services in a prestigious boutique environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute in-store and online sales activities following the Dior D.I.O.R. methodology, prioritizing personalized product recommendations and cross-category suggestive selling
- Demonstrate exceptional service standards and attention to detail when interacting with customers at the counter, creating memorable brand experiences
- Identify and respond to customer needs with keen observation and tailored beauty solutions for a holistic approach
- Establish and nurture enduring relationships with both in-store and remote existing clients while actively recruiting new clientele and increasing repeat visits
- Register customer data in designated systems and execute all customer relationship management activities and client engagement initiatives
- Leverage Dior tools and content to drive foot traffic, foster client loyalty, and drive sales actions
- Master brand, category, and competitive product knowledge to support informed customer consultations
- Monitor daily inventory levels, report discrepancies to counter manager, and ensure adequate stock availability
- Process cashier operations and daily reconciliation as applicable
- Comply strictly with all company policies, standard operating procedures, processes, and employee conduct codes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology school certification preferred
- 1–2 years of professional experience in retail and service industries, with luxury retail experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated excellence in luxury retail sales performance
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (fluent), English communication ability (required for larger boutiques)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent sales techniques, with luxury sector experience preferred
Skills
Experience
1–2 years of professional experience in retail and service industries, with experience in the luxury goods sector preferred. Demonstrated track record of strong sales performance in luxury retail environments is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; beauty school or cosmetology training preferred.
