Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance across buildings, material handling systems and technical equipment to ensure continuous site operation.
  • Install, commission, adjust and upgrade mechanical and electromechanical installations, including conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
  • Diagnose faults, perform repairs or component replacements, and maintain an inventory of critical spare parts to maximise equipment availability.
  • Define and update preventive maintenance plans and record interventions in the GMAO (CMMS); author technical intervention sheets where required.
  • Coordinate and supervise external contractors, verify quality of work and ensure compliance with site safety and environmental standards; contribute to worksite prevention plans.
  • Respond to urgent incidents and participate in on‑call rotas, including Saturday standby with sub‑30 minute site response when required.
  • Provide technical support and user training to operational teams; propose durable solutions after root‑cause analysis of recurring failures.
  • Contribute technical expertise to cross‑departmental projects and continuous improvement of maintenance processes.

Qualifications

  • Technical diploma (Bac+2) in Maintenance, Electromechanics or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance within a distribution platform, industrial environment or multi‑site organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electronics, electromechanics, automation, pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Proven experience with a GMAO (CMMS) and maintenance documentation.
  • Electrical qualifications: Habilitation électrique H1B1 / Manœuvre / BR (or equivalent).
  • Welding skills (TIG) and familiarity with photovoltaic systems desirable; nacelle (aerial platform) training preferred.
  • Methodical, rigorous, proactive with strong analytical skills, teamwork and customer‑service orientation.
  • Technical English (reading) recommended.
