Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and implement sourcing strategy for the assigned material category
  • Negotiate framework contracts, pricing, and commercial conditions with suppliers
  • Assess and monitor supplier production capabilities and quality performance
  • Identify and develop new sourcing opportunities aligned with brand requirements
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Planning, Compliance, and Quality teams to ensure strategic alignment
  • Analyze market trends and supply chain risks
  • Conduct comprehensive supplier performance reviews in collaboration with the Procurement Manager and cross-functional departments
  • Manage purchasing of materials for new collections
  • Ensure optimal supplier capacity management to prevent overloading or underutilization
  • Align suppliers with brand objectives for quality, sustainability, and innovation

Qualifications

  • Degree in Economics, Management Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic purchasing, ideally within fashion or luxury sectors
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management capabilities
  • Demonstrated knowledge of market dynamics related to the assigned material category
  • Proficiency in Excel and Power BI or equivalent analytical tools
  • English language proficiency at B2 level minimum; French language skills preferred
