Christian Dior Couture seeks a Leather Goods Industrialization Manager in Milan to lead technical industrialization and production optimization for leather accessories.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all industrialization activities for leather goods, converting product and development specifications into industrializable, cost‑effective production processes.
  • Manage and develop a team responsible for industrialization, technical analysis and process optimization, including workload planning aligned with Product Development timelines and production calendars.
  • Define construction methods, materials and components in close collaboration with Product Development, Pattern Making and Prototyping to ensure functional, quality and aesthetic targets are met for mass production.
  • Oversee creation, validation and approval of technical documentation, bills of materials (BOMs) and production cycles.
  • Drive process validation and oversee trials to ensure quality, yield and efficiency targets are achieved prior to ramping to full production.
  • Interface with Production partners to resolve technical issues during the prototype-to‑industrial transition and implement corrective actions to safeguard delivery and quality.
  • Promote adoption of advanced industrialization tools, manufacturing technologies and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize flows and reduce costs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in industrialization and manufacturing of leather goods within the luxury sector, with end‑to‑end project ownership from prototype to mass production.
  • Deep technical knowledge of leather goods construction, materials, components and production techniques specific to luxury accessories.
  • Proven experience in production process design, process validation, BOM management and production cycle definition.
  • Strong command of quality control standards, lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership and cross‑functional collaboration skills, including team development and stakeholder management across Product Development and Production.
  • Proficiency with industrialization and production planning tools; demonstrated ability to analyze and optimize production flows, costs and quality.
