Christian Dior Couture seeks a Knit Development Assistant apprentice in Paris to support prototype management and sample coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed reception and quality control of knit prototypes, including measurement verification and archival classification
- Track shipments with logistics partners and coordinate receipt of incoming prototype samples and materials
- Organize and manage samples throughout collection development to ensure availability for design reviews and presentations
- Facilitate circulation of references between internal stakeholders and departments
- Prepare and organize internal design team meetings and presentations
- Maintain and update project overviews, boards, and development team budgets
- Manage supplies and material procurement for the knit development division
- Attend supply-related meetings and coordinate distribution of materials to manufacturing facilities
- Provide ad hoc administrative support including courier requests, visitor reception, and general assistance as needed
Qualifications
- Fluent French and English
- Proficiency in Excel
- Knowledge of or demonstrated interest in knitwear and textiles
- Strong organizational and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a design team

Entry-level or beginner experience; no prior professional experience required.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; vocational training or studies in fashion, textiles, or supply chain management preferred.
