Christian Dior Couture internship: Assistant Merchandiser, Paris. Six-month opportunity in luxury fashion merchandising, beginning January 2027.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports shared with retail teams, central departments, and senior leadership, analyzing metrics across EMEA, sub-zones, boutiques, categories, segments, products, and SKUs
  • Review replenishment targets, manage restock initiatives, optimize inventory levels, and coordinate product rebalancing across locations
  • Provide operational retail support including inventory transfers, development of community engagement materials, and responses to merchandising inquiries from boutiques
  • Assist Merchandisers in organizing and executing buying sessions, including data analysis, tool preparation, and order entry support
  • Coordinate commercial initiatives including collection launches, creation of promotional materials, and performance analyses to inform strategic merchandising actions
  • Support boutique openings and retail events through information preparation, inventory updates, and performance monitoring

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a business school or equivalent program
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated analytical mindset with aptitude for numerical data, statistics, and data interpretation
  • Experience in retail and/or merchandising (preferred but not required)
  • Fluent in both English and French
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

Experience
