Christian Dior Couture (Paris) seeks a Jewellery & Watches Director for the 30 Avenue Montaigne boutique to lead sales and team performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead commercial performance for the jewellery and watches department at the 30 Avenue Montaigne boutique: drive sales growth, customer development and achievement of targets in line with Maison strategy.
- Ensure an exemplary client experience and in-store service standards across reception, sales, visual merchandising, zoning and boutique presentation.
- Manage department operations including stock and inventory control, staff scheduling, adherence to Maison procedures and internal control measures.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, propose and deploy action plans, and provide regular reporting to senior store management.
- Recruit, onboard, coach and develop the departmental team: conduct daily briefings, performance reviews, individual coaching and implement development plans.
- Handle client disputes and escalations in conformity with the Maison’s commercial policies.
- Act as a communication relay between store leadership, headquarters and peer boutiques across Europe; foster collaborative relationships across departments to preserve team climate and performance.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership in luxury retail with a minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience, including supervisory/managerial responsibility in jewellery and/or watches retail.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and developing high-value clientele.
- Fluent in French and English; proficiency in a third language is a plus.
- Strong people-management skills: recruitment, coaching, performance management and team development.
- Excellent organisational abilities, attention to detail, and discretion in handling high-value merchandise and client relationships.

Experience
Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in luxury retail, with significant management responsibility; prior experience leading a jewellery and/or watches department in a flagship boutique preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, luxury management, retail or a related discipline preferred; specialised training in jewellery/horology is an advantage.
