Perfums Christian Dior seeks an Intellectual Property Law Intern for six months in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France to support trademark, patent and IP protection initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare, monitor and participate in filing, examination, opposition, nullity and appeal procedures for trademarks and patents in France and internationally
- Assist in developing opposition cases in France and abroad, including conducting prior art searches, analysing competing rights, reviewing cease-and-desist letters and opposition memoranda, and coordinating with operational teams for evidence collection
- Analyse and draft contracts and agreements related to intellectual property, including copyright assignments, neighbouring rights, model releases, confidentiality agreements and licensing arrangements
- Contribute to trademark portfolio management and associated administrative tasks, including compilation of use evidence and maintenance records
- Coordinate with anti-counterfeiting teams on trademark enforcement matters, including monitoring counterfeiting on social media and e-commerce platforms, and participate in evidence collection and analysis
- Provide guidance and advice to internal stakeholders on intellectual property matters and best practices
- Draft legal memoranda, opinions and research studies on intellectual property topics
- Conduct ongoing legal watch and monitor legislative, regulatory and judicial developments in intellectual property law
Qualifications
- Master's 2 student specialising in Intellectual Property or Industrial Property law
- Law graduate or CRFPA candidate/holder preferred
- Excellent analytical, synthesis and written communication skills
- Fluent English (written and oral)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and demonstrated autonomy
- Collaborative mindset and excellent interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated interest in luxury, beauty and innovation sectors

Experience
Beginner level; however, candidates with prior internship experience in intellectual property, legal affairs or luxury brands are advantageous. No specific years of professional experience required.
Education
Enrolled in or recently completed a Master's 2 programme in Intellectual Property, Industrial Property or equivalent specialisation in legal studies. Law graduates and CRFPA candidates or holders are particularly encouraged to apply.
