Christian Dior Couture, Paris: Industrial Materials Development Assistant internship in Ready-to-Wear Women's, supporting textile industrialization and PLM management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Textile & Print Industrialization with daily operations and strategic materials initiatives
- Participate in material referencing and industrialization processes in collaboration with the department lead
- Manage material information updates within PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software systems
- Collect and organize technical information from fabric suppliers and manufacturing partners
- Support preparation and distribution of fabric redevelopment files to manufacturers
- Maintain and update the digital photo library for textile samples and materials
- Track and update monitoring tools to ensure materials pipeline visibility and compliance
Qualifications
- Student enrolled in a fashion school, business school, or engineering program
- Prior professional experience in fabric development, methodology, or quality assurance within fashion or textile sectors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- English language capability; Italian preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams
