Christian Dior Couture seeks an In‑store Visual Merchandising Manager in Paris (30 avenue Montaigne) to lead VM and a team of three across multi‑category boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the in‑store visual merchandising function for the flagship 30 avenue Montaigne boutique across Women’s, Men’s, Jewellery, Maison and Baby universes.
  • Manage and develop a team of three in‑store visual merchandisers through coaching, training programmes, recruitment and performance development.
  • Implement and adapt the maison’s VM strategy in collaboration with HQ teams and the VM Manager France & Europe, ensuring consistent brand image and adherence to Dior codes.
  • Design, install and maintain window displays, product placements and VM standards for launches, events and seasonal resets; ensure ongoing maintenance and quality control.
  • Analyse VM installations and related KPIs; report on VM impact to commercial performance and recommend adjustments to optimise sales and stock balance.
  • Drive boutique animation and provide regular VM briefings to store teams; conduct competitive visual surveillance within the luxury sector.
  • Contribute to VM innovation projects by collaborating with cross‑functional teams at headquarters.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) or equivalent from a business, fashion or visual merchandising programme oriented to luxury retail or fashion design.
  • Minimum 10 years’ professional experience in visual merchandising within luxury retail, including at least 5 years in a people management role.
  • Demonstrated experience across multiple product categories (women, men, jewellery, home, baby) in a flagship boutique environment.
  • Fluency in French and English (verbal and written) is essential.
  • Proven ability to translate creative direction into commercial in‑store executions and to analyse VM impact via KPIs.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, creativity and strong interpersonal intelligence in a demanding managerial context.
