Christian Dior Couture, Paris: 6-month internship for Import/Export Logistics Assistant supporting jewelry and horology supply chain operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage daily pre-alert responses for jewelry and horology imports across all customs regimes (definitive, TIB, carnet ATA/CPD, active improvement, franchise recovery)
- Monitor merchandise delivery to headquarters and handle dispute resolution and regulatory adjustments
- Receive parcels, open import customs dossiers, prepare shipments, provide customs instructions to carriers, and track temporary precious stone files
- Maintain daily coordination with the precious stone department on dispatch and logistics matters
- Manage three daily reception and delivery cycles within the logistics service, coordinate shuttle passages between the Business Unit and transportation providers
- Oversee accessible and mid-tier jewelry flows between production and central stock, manage urgent requests and press/marketing ad hoc demands
- Support the Import/Export Coordinator on customs dossiers and coordinate with logistics service providers
- Serve as backup for horology shuttle management between Paris and Switzerland and for horology import pre-alert tracking
- Request carrier quotations for roadshows, rotations, one-time operations, press, and marketing initiatives
- Assist logistics team in organizing overall shipment flows during events, support team during product roadshow departures and returns
- Participate in inventory cycles and event logistics as needed
- Establish and monitor performance indicators and update operational procedures
Qualifications
- Education in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (Master's level, second-year internship)
- First professional experience in logistics or import/export operations
- Rigorous attention to detail with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in business English
- Comfortable with numerical analysis and data management
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel
- Knowledge of ERP systems considered an advantage
