Christian Dior Couture in Munich — Human Resources Manager (Retail: Germany & Austria). Lead 360° HR, talent and C&B for the region; 50% travel required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end 360° HR agenda for the Germany & Austria retail scope, partnering closely with retail leadership and head-office teams.
- Design and implement talent strategies: succession planning, individual development plans, internal mobility and mission planning.
- Drive candidate experience and attraction: employer branding, proactive sourcing, campus management and structured onboarding.
- Lead HR operations and compensation & benefits activities: monthly reporting, compliance with legal and audit requirements, compensation review campaigns and collaboration on candidate packages.
- Act as primary HR contact for retail teams; coach managers on performance management, development and organisational issues.
- Deputise for payroll activities when required to ensure timely payroll delivery and benefits communication.
- Lead and contribute to transversal HR and retail projects, testing new methodologies, advancing digitalisation and promoting CSR and health & safety compliance.
- Travel a minimum of 50% across the decentralised region to support boutiques and local teams in situ.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline preferred.
- Minimum 10 years’ professional experience in a generalist HR role within retail and/or hospitality, with demonstrable responsibility for regional or multi-country remit.
- Proven capability to lead multiple projects autonomously and to influence senior stakeholders.
- Fluent German and English (spoken and written) are essential.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills; pragmatic, solutions-oriented and results-driven mindset.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 10 years in generalist HR roles within retail or hospitality, with extensive exposure to regional HR responsibilities, talent management frameworks and operational HR processes.
Education
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent preferred; relevant HR certifications or continuous professional development in HR practices advantageous.
