Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver end‑to‑end HR generalist administration across the employee lifecycle for the Corporate Office and Client Services Center, ensuring confidentiality and professional discretion.
  • Manage full life‑cycle recruitment for Client Services Center roles: sourcing, interviewing, reference checks, offer extensions and onboarding coordination.
  • Partner with legal and senior HR leadership to manage employee relations cases, investigations and disciplinary processes.
  • Administer compensation, benefits and payroll-related processes; ensure compliance with federal and state wage-and-hour regulations.
  • Streamline and document HR processes for efficiency and accuracy; lead Next Generation talent programmes aligned to organisational needs.
  • Partner with HR Controller on staff cost planning and manage the internal cost recovery (ICR) process for the Client Services Center.
  • Support ad hoc HR projects and initiatives, including background check completion and HR policy review and improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a corporate or shared‑services environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of US labor laws, wage-and-hour regulations, compensation, benefits and payroll practices.
  • Proven experience managing employee relations cases and conducting sensitive investigations in partnership with legal counsel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to prioritise, multi‑task and work independently while exercising discretion with confidential information.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally between Jersey City and New York offices.

Experience
