Christian Dior seeks Hospitality Senior Manager in Tokyo, Japan. Lead F&B strategy and operations for luxury fine dining and café venues.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of all Food & Beverage activities, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and alignment with Dior's brand standards
  • Define and implement client acquisition and retention strategies in collaboration with Retail, Clienteling, Marketing, PR, and Communications teams
  • Develop and articulate a clear strategic vision for Dior hospitality in Japan, including positioning, market development, and long-term growth opportunities for fine dining and café concepts
  • Direct and manage all aspects of restaurant and café operations, ensuring consistent adherence to brand standards, service excellence, and operational efficiency
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators for all hospitality venues, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing corrective actions to achieve financial targets
  • Lead the launch of new fine dining concepts, ensuring readiness across operations, guest journey, team training, service standards, and brand experience
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of hospitality professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to support team professional growth and career development
  • Develop and manage annual budgets for all hospitality operations, ensuring fiscal responsibility and maximizing profitability
  • Implement cost control measures without compromising quality or guest experience
  • Coordinate with Dior HQ Hospitality teams and operational partners on product offerings, service guidelines, and marketing activation plans
  • Act as primary liaison between hospitality department and other critical functions at Japan Head Office, including Retail, Clienteling, Marketing, Communications, HR, IT, and Finance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Food & Beverage and luxury hospitality
  • Significant senior leadership responsibility in fine dining restaurants, luxury hotels, or premium hospitality groups
  • Prior experience as Director or General Manager of a fine dining restaurant, ideally 1- or 2-Michelin-starred
  • Proven success in launching fine dining restaurants or comparable luxury hospitality concepts
  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute strategic plans and develop distinctive hospitality vision
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with proactive and innovative approach to challenges
  • Profound understanding of the luxury market, customer expectations, and service standards in Japan
  • Solid understanding of Japanese F&B customer behavior and local hospitality landscape
  • Flexibility to travel as required

Experience

Prior experience as Director or General Manager of a Michelin-starred fine dining restaurant is highly valued. Demonstrated success in launching and developing fine dining concepts, including pre-opening planning, team establishment, service model definition, guest acquisition strategies, and post-opening performance management, is essential.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
