Christian Dior Couture seeks an International High-End Merchandiser Intern in Paris for luxury jewellery and timepiece stock coordination (6 months, January 2027).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define stock rotation strategies including local allocations, boutique assortments, and event roadshow selections
  • Manage replenishment launch schedules, delivery priorities, and stock split implementation
  • Administer and communicate event assortment details (stock updates, local currency price lists, display status) to CRM and regional teams
  • Manage the event catalogue process including assortment configuration, data quality verification, and stock status updates
  • Process regional requests for client one-time orders (OTOs) and propose suitable alternatives
  • Support repricing campaigns across euro and local currency markets
  • Coordinate press requests for events and photographic shoots
  • Collaborate with Central Visual Merchandising on event zoning strategies
  • Analyse stock levels and develop replenishment forecasts
  • Provide regular market feedback to the Marketing department to enhance product assortment consistency and desirability
  • Monitor and optimize worldwide stock quality standards
  • Manage regional inventory clearance and buyback programmes
  • Support specialised projects related to high-end jewellery and timepiece business operations (IT systems, product environment)
  • Provide on-site support during international and local events

Qualifications

  • Business School degree or Bachelor's qualification
  • Previous internship experience in merchandising, supply chain, or luxury goods environments preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical and interpretative capabilities
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
  • Fluent in English
