Christian Dior Couture internship in Paris: support heritage collections management, conservation, and exhibitions within Dior Heritage Department.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in processing and tracking artwork movement requests from the studio, haute couture shows, celebrities, and other departments for various events
- Coordinate logistics and administration for exhibition movements (both on-site and travelling) and institutional loans
- Support preparation of artwork documentation, condition reports, and appropriate packaging specifications based on transportation method
- Manage courier and packaging vendor communications and logistics
- Participate in the operational workflow for collection acquisitions (textiles and accessories)
- Prepare condition assessments and state reports for artworks
- Maintain and update collection object lists for anoxia campaigns, conservation treatments, and other collection initiatives
- Contribute to collection inventory projects, reconciliation activities, and re-conditioning campaigns
- Assist in the preparation of exhibition timelines, schedules, and calendars
- Support physical installation and de-installation of exhibitions or rotations at Dior Gallery
- Enter and track artwork movements in the SkinSoft database system and update object locations
- Integrate conservation reports, restoration documentation, and expertise assessments into collection records
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or recently completed a Master's II programme in Collections Management and/or Preventive Conservation, or equivalent qualification such as MC Entretien des Collections Patrimoniales
- Prior experience with textile collections highly desirable
- Strong proficiency in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proficiency in Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop)
- Familiarity with collections database software
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Methodical, organized, and detail-oriented approach to work
- Ability to work autonomously with strong initiative
- Excellent adaptability and responsiveness
- Availability and scheduling flexibility

Entry-level; no prior professional experience required, though prior involvement with textile or heritage collections is valued.
Education
