Christian Dior Couture seeks Heritage Collections Intern in Paris for apprenticeship supporting archives documentation and graphic arts management beginning September 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the management of two-dimensional heritage collections through the full acquisition and cataloging cycle
- Assist with photograph intake processes, including inventory number assignment and condition marking
- Conduct condition assessments of artworks for exhibition projects
- Update and maintain existing research documentation files
- Conduct physical inventory (recollement) of paper collections, including magazines and graphic arts
- Prepare materials for periodic repackaging and transfer to external storage facilities
- Integrate and manage documentary records within the Skinsoft collections management system
- Populate and index content in the Diorama DAM (digital asset management platform)
- Coordinate collection movements between external storage reserves and the Heritage department in coordination with the collections oversight team
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or recently completed studies in archives, library science, documentation, or iconography
- Professional proficiency in English
- Demonstrated organizational skills, precision, and attention to detail
- Strong collaborative and team-oriented approach
- Genuine interest in fashion history and art
- Patience and aptitude for detailed archival and conservation work

Entry-level; no prior professional experience required. Candidates should be actively pursuing or have recently completed formal education in archives, documentation, or related fields.

Currently enrolled in or recently completed degree program in archives, library science, documentation, iconography, or closely related discipline.
