Christian Dior Couture seeks a Head of Learning and Leadership in Paris to lead global learning, skills development and leadership strategy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Structure and lead the collection of skills-development needs across business functions and geographic regions.
- Develop and implement an innovative learning strategy aligned with Dior’s overall strategy.
- Anticipate changes in roles and required skills, and establish skills-development plans in close collaboration with different entities.
- Identify, assess, and select external training partners.
- Oversee the instructional design of online and offline training programmes.
- Manage platforms for distributing learning content.
- Continuously improve the learning offer and processes.
- Define and monitor performance indicators for all learning formats, including classroom and digital training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Manage the team and providers responsible for management training sessions.
- Coordinate contributions from internal leaders and external experts.
- Monitor participants, trainers, and coaches.
- Design and implement, with all business functions, a skills-development and change-management strategy related to the accelerated AI roadmap at Dior.
- Identify and promote the leadership skills and behaviours expected in line with Dior’s strategy and the Group’s convictions.
- Select and contract internal and external coaches.
- Recommend suitable coaches for each situation and facilitate introductions between coaches and coachees.
- Monitor and evaluate coaching effectiveness.
- Develop the coaching offer and related partnerships.
Qualifications
- Higher-education degree (Bac +5 level), such as a business school qualification, with a specialisation in Human Resources, Skills Development, Management, or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of significant experience in Learning & Development, ideally in an international environment or a luxury house, with substantial experience facilitating training or in instructional design.
- Comprehensive command of the learning value chain, from needs assessment through evaluation and ROI of programmes.
- Ability to define and steer a clear vision for skills and leadership development.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate with stakeholders at different hierarchical levels, both internally and externally.
- Strong ability to manage complex projects autonomously from design through implementation, with a rigorous and collaborative approach.
- Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and proactivity in proposing innovative solutions suited to business challenges.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to anticipate needs and manage priorities.
- Ability to collaborate and bring teams together around shared objectives.
- Fluent English, written and spoken; knowledge of another language is a plus.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint functions; familiarity with e-learning tools and platforms.
