Christian Dior Couture seeks a Head of Business Analysis and Merchandising Transformation in Paris to lead sales analytics and merchandising projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze performance through weekly and monthly reports, including collection analysis, category contribution, regional performance, and nationality-based insights.
- Monitor collection performance, including sales, sell-through rates (ST%), and best-selling items.
- Track permanent collection performance.
- Synthesize analyses into presentations and in-depth studies.
- Analyze sales forecasts, including monthly revenue projections and consolidation.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses as needed.
- Prepare budget presentations and strategic briefing notes.
- Coordinate cross-functional analyses in close collaboration with Retail Merchandising teams.
- Manage cross-functional projects for Dior Homme management.
- Support preparation for Open-to-Buy (OTB) meetings.
- Coordinate and deliver presentations for plenary sessions, pre-debriefs, and debriefs; sales sessions take place four times a year.
- Track and manage major ongoing Merchandising transformation projects for the Men’s Business Unit.
- Participate in projects to improve analytical tools.
- Conduct CRM analyses.
Qualifications
- Business school, engineering school, or equivalent university degree.
- At least 5 years of prior experience in a similar role or in strategy consulting.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Interest in fashion and luxury.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong synthesis, organizational, and initiative/proactivity skills.
- High level of rigor, precision, and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, and autonomy.
- Dynamic, curious, and open-minded, with strong communication, listening, and observation skills.
- Fluent written and spoken French and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
