Christian Dior Couture seeks a Global Head of Leadership and Learning to shape and deliver the Maison’s global learning and leadership strategies, including management development, coaching and AI-related upskilling. The role is permanent and full-time, based on-site in Paris.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and lead the Maison’s global learning strategy, gathering skills-development needs across business functions and geographic regions and aligning the strategy with Dior’s global direction.
- Anticipate changes in roles and required skills, and develop skills plans with the relevant entities.
- Lead the learning value chain: identify, assess and select external training partners; oversee instructional design for online and offline programmes; manage learning-content distribution platforms; improve the learning offer and processes; and define and monitor performance indicators across in-person and digital training, coaching and mentoring.
- Lead the team and providers delivering management training sessions, coordinate contributions from internal leaders and external experts, and track participants, trainers and coaches.
- Develop and implement, with business functions, a skills-development and change-management strategy linked to the acceleration of Dior’s AI roadmap.
- Define the expected leadership skills and behaviours in line with Dior’s strategy and the Group’s convictions.
- Develop individual and group coaching: select and contract internal and external coaches, recommend suitable coaches and arrange coach–coachee introductions, monitor and evaluate coaching effectiveness, and develop the coaching offer and related partnerships.
Qualifications
- Higher-education degree at Bac+5 level, such as a business school qualification, with a specialisation in Human Resources, Skills Development, Management or an equivalent field.
- At least 10 years of significant experience in Learning & Development, ideally in an international environment or luxury house, including substantial experience facilitating training or in instructional design.
- Comprehensive command of the learning value chain, from needs assessment through evaluation and ROI measurement of learning initiatives.
- Ability to define and lead a clear vision for skills and leadership development.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate with stakeholders at different levels, both internally and externally.
- Strong ability to independently lead complex projects from design through implementation, with a rigorous and collaborative approach.
- Intellectual curiosity, creativity and proactivity in proposing innovative solutions suited to business needs.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to anticipate needs and manage priorities.
- Collaborative team spirit and ability to unite teams around shared objectives.
- Fluent English, written and spoken; another language is an advantage.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint functions; knowledge of e-learning tools and platforms.
