Parfums Christian Dior seeks a Fragrance Trainer in Düsseldorf — full‑time, permanent role delivering retail training across Germany, Switzerland & Austria.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver training programmes (online and in‑store) for retail Beauty Consultants with a primary focus on fragrances, according to global curriculum and local needs.
  • Convey Dior fragrance expertise through storytelling, product knowledge, ingredient background and consultation techniques to elevate customer experience and loyalty.
  • Develop and run masterclasses, learning sessions and point‑of‑sale trainings; coach and mentor field teams to improve retail performance and service consistency.
  • Maintain and update digital learning content within the My Dior App: translate, adapt and upload materials to ensure regional relevance.
  • Create and refresh training materials, presentations and e‑learning assets; collaborate with Marketing, Retail, PR and Social teams to align training with campaigns.
  • Identify high‑potential retail talent and support their inclusion in specialist or expert development programmes.
  • Represent Parfums Christian Dior at internal and external events to showcase fragrance expertise and training initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Several years of relevant experience as a trainer in luxury goods, beauty, fragrance or retail environments.
  • Deep knowledge of fragrance composition, raw materials and haute parfumerie with a demonstrable passion for scent.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and coaching capabilities with a motivational and engaging facilitation style.
  • High digital affinity and experience with digital learning platforms, e‑learning content and social media.
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and manage multiple stakeholders across DACH.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
  • Fluent German (verhandlungssicher) and very good English; French or Italian considered an advantage.

Experience

Vocational qualification or university degree in business, marketing, cosmetics, adult education or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience in training and development is accepted.
