Parfums Christian Dior seeks a Fragrance Consultant for a temporary full-time role at Selfridges, London. Brand ambassador position driving luxury beauty sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of Parfums Christian Dior fragrances, makeup, and skincare, presenting and applying products to inspire and acquire new clients
- Proactively sell products and deliver luxury-standard service and experience, consistently achieving or exceeding individual sales targets
- Cross-sell and link products across all categories to increase average transaction value and items per transaction
- Initiate client contact, welcome customers at counter and through floor activity, and develop personalised recommendations
- Build and cultivate personal client relationships, introducing the DIOR My Exclusive Loyalty Programme and driving programme enrolment
- Educate clients on product benefits and the House's rich heritage, positioning Parfums Christian Dior as an absolute reference in French luxury
- Maintain merchandise displays in line with corporate guidelines, protecting brand image and visual standards
- Monitor stock levels, identify and report any issues, and ensure adequate inventory availability
- Build and maintain a strong brand database using the ipos tool, recording all client data, sales transactions, and client profiles
- Develop and utilise the customer database to build clientele through targeted phone calls, product launch events, and appointment scheduling
- Adhere to all company procedures and policies as outlined in the employee handbook
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a luxury, consultative sales role
- Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets and link-sell across product categories
- Immaculate grooming and presentation embodying Parfums Christian Dior elegance standards
- Strong client relationship management capabilities with ability to develop personal rapport
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and customer database management tools such as ipos
- Understanding of merchandise management and corporate brand guidelines
Skills
Experience
Experience in beauty and/or fragrance sales is advantageous. Previous experience working in a luxury, consultative sales environment is required. Beginner-level candidates with strong soft skills and demonstrated passion for the brand may be considered.
