Role & Responsibilities

• Analyze required alterations following the guidelines set by the fitter using pins and markings.
• Dismantle garments while meticulously noting technical details to ensure precision during reassembly.
• Operate various sewing and finishing machines, maintaining them in optimal condition and reporting any malfunctions.
• Reassemble garments, applying alterations to meet client specifications, and ensure a refined final appearance through careful pressing and inspection.
• Collaborate closely with fitters to establish optimal delivery timelines and consult with clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance efficiency and presentation.
• Adhere to internal workshop procedures, including alteration forms and schedules.
• Provide impeccable customer service by offering expert advice on alterations and addressing client inquiries.
• Work in tandem with sales advisors to deliver a personalized fitting experience.
• Ensure comprehensive follow-up on alterations until the client is fully satisfied.
• Adapt to client characteristics to facilitate a smooth fitting process.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of measurement taking, fabric characteristics, and alteration techniques.
• Passion for fashion and luxury, with a strong understanding of products.
• Recognized for high-quality work and swift execution.
• Fluency in English.

Skills

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in fitting and alterations within the retail sector.
