Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze alteration requirements by interpreting fitter markings and technical notes to ensure precise execution
- Disassemble garments meticulously while documenting technical details for accurate reconstruction
- Operate specialized sewing equipment including flat-lock machines, sergers, buttonholers, and industrial presses while maintaining optimal equipment condition
- Reconstruct altered pieces with meticulous attention to client specifications and quality standards
- Press and finish garments to a refined standard, verifying all alterations meet exacting fit requirements
