Christian Dior Couture seeks a Fine Jewelry & Timepiece Director in Los Angeles (Beverly Hills) to lead sales, UHNW client development and boutique operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own P&L-driven performance for the Fine Jewelry & Timepiece category at the Beverly Hills flagship, delivering on annual sales targets and growth initiatives.
  • Develop and execute a proactive commercial strategy that identifies category growth opportunities and optimises product mix in collaboration with Merchandising.
  • Lead UHNW and High Jewelry client development through bespoke clienteling, networking, events and personalised relationship management.
  • Coach, inspire and develop Client Advisors (including Grand Vendeurs and Fine Jewelry Specialists), setting standards for sales conduct and product knowledge.
  • Analyse sales trends and client feedback to produce actionable merchandising and assortment recommendations for Regional and Corporate teams.
  • Plan and deliver memorable client events and activations in partnership with Regional and Corporate teams to deepen boutique community engagement.
  • Ensure operational excellence by collaborating with operations on Shipping & Receiving, Inventory control and After‑Sales Services.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and standards across the team and approach operational challenges with continuous improvement mindset.
  • Represent the Maison at all client and public occasions with professional elegance and deep product expertise.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in luxury retail, with significant exposure to fine jewelry and/or high jewelry and timepieces.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing UHNW clientele in a luxury boutique or flagship environment.
  • Demonstrable leadership experience, including hiring, coaching and developing high‑performing client advisors.
  • In-depth product knowledge of fine and high jewelry and watches, and experience working with Merchandising/Training teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills and experience translating client insight into merchandising or service actions.
  • Operational understanding of boutique processes: inventory control, shipping & receiving and after-sales service, plus adherence to compliance standards.

Experience
