Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee monthly and annual budget development, forecasting, and reporting for all corporate functions, including departmental expense analysis and consolidation through dedicated software platforms
  • Conduct monthly financial close processes, including accounting review, data consolidation, variance analysis against forecasts, and production of comprehensive management reporting
  • Monitor and control consolidated SG&A expenses in collaboration with retail subsidiary finance teams, identifying efficiency opportunities and cost reduction levers
  • Analyze and follow capital expenditure (Capex) projects, assessing investment returns and ensuring budgetary compliance
  • Collaborate with the Treasury department to develop cash flow forecasts, integrating subsidiary-specific factors such as currencies and local regulatory requirements
  • Consolidate subsidiary cash position data, verifying consistency with budgets and forecasts while ensuring alignment with tax strategy and optimization goals
  • Develop and maintain cash flow tracking tools, including weekly and monthly reporting with variance analysis
  • Execute ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic decision-making, including feasibility studies for new initiatives, project ROI assessments, and post-completion reviews
  • Participate in the evolution of reporting infrastructure (ERP, BI tools, planning systems) and control processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control procedures across all financial reporting activities

Qualifications

  • Master's degree from a business school or equivalent higher education qualification in finance, accounting, or related discipline
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in external audit, management consulting, or financial control
  • Demonstrated experience in retail operations finance, preferably within a luxury goods context
  • Advanced proficiency in English; knowledge of a third language is advantageous
  • Expertise with financial planning and consolidation software platforms (ERP, business intelligence tools, forecasting systems)
  • Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities with ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insights
