Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and analyse consolidation perimeters, identifying and ensuring correct treatment of any variations in the consolidated financial statements
  • Collect, control, and analyse balance sheets, income statements, and management accounts from each group entity; verify tax calculations
  • Execute and validate automated consolidation rules within the system; eliminate intragroup flows and calculate inventory margins
  • Rationalize effective tax rates (ETR), construct consolidated tax proof, analyse exceptional operations, and reconcile consolidated financial statements for consistency
  • Ensure proper submission of financial statement annexes and justify consolidation work to external auditors
  • Analyse consolidated financial statements for management and the group's finance division, including financial results, tax rates, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Participate actively in finance projects, including deployment of new accounting standards such as IFRS 16 and reporting taxonomy
  • Train subsidiary staff on consolidation systems and reporting tools; provide technical support for IFRS implementation and interface development
  • Conduct periodic financial control missions at subsidiaries as defined in the roadmap, in collaboration with internal audit
  • Validate reconciliations between local accounting standards (Local GAAP) and IFRS GAAP; validate statutory auditor reports and reconcile final net equity positions
  • Participate in dividend distribution preparation in coordination with the treasury team
  • Administer the Syrus consolidation tool; manage version upgrades, define requirements, and control user access

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business, Finance, or Management Accounting (BAC +5 equivalent)
  • DSCG (Diplôme Supérieur de Comptabilité et de Gestion) or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in external audit, financial consolidation, or management accounting within a multinational group
  • Fluent English, both written and oral, for communication with international subsidiaries
  • Strong proficiency in accounting techniques and IFRS standards
  • Advanced knowledge of financial management software tools and systems
  • Proficiency in Power BI strongly preferred
  • Rigorous analytical and synthesis capabilities
