Christian Dior Finance Intern (unpaid) position in Sydney, Australia. Support accounting and AP operations while gaining luxury finance experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations
- Learn and support the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist with maintaining accurate financial records
- Process vendor creation, invoices, and payment workflows
- Reconcile vendor statements in partnership with the Accounts Payable team
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records
- Provide general administrative support to the Finance team
- Assist with ad-hoc finance projects and special assignments
- Gain practical exposure to various functions within a fully operating local finance department
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field at an Australian or New Zealand university
- Strong academic record
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong willingness to learn and develop professional skills
