Christian Dior Finance Intern (unpaid) position in Sydney, Australia. Support accounting and AP operations while gaining luxury finance experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations
  • Learn and support the month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Assist with maintaining accurate financial records
  • Process vendor creation, invoices, and payment workflows
  • Reconcile vendor statements in partnership with the Accounts Payable team
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable records
  • Provide general administrative support to the Finance team
  • Assist with ad-hoc finance projects and special assignments
  • Gain practical exposure to various functions within a fully operating local finance department

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field at an Australian or New Zealand university
  • Strong academic record
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
