The Festive Retail Marketing Project Manager contributes to Christian Dior’s global client activation strategy for local celebrations, festive occasions and boutique openings, coordinating events, in-store experiences, performance tracking and cross-functional teams. The permanent, full-time, on-site role also includes supervising an intern.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to developing and deploying the annual 360° retail client activation plan for local celebrations, festive occasions and Dior boutique openings, working with key teams and aligning it with client needs and House objectives.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the retail marketing 360° client strategy with cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze post-event results and gather feedback to assess retail activity impact on brand image, revenue and client experience.
  • Share recommendations to optimize future activation projects.
  • Coordinate the international rollout of retail events for local celebrations, festive occasions and Dior boutique openings with headquarters teams—including visual merchandising, image, logistics and graphic design—and regional teams, ensuring compliance with House standards.
  • Contribute to developing and optimizing cross-functional tools to improve operational efficiency and streamline processes with visual merchandising, image, business units and regional teams.
  • For each local celebration, festive occasion or boutique opening, design and coordinate innovative, distinctive in-store client experiences, including gathering market needs, brainstorming concepts, developing prototypes with suppliers, managing tenders, launching production and overseeing logistics.
  • Deploy guidelines for in-store activations such as Christmas, Lunar New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival and boutique openings to ensure consistent, high-quality execution.
  • Monitor worldwide deliveries to boutiques and coordinate recharging costs to all markets.
  • Propose new client animations and activation concepts suited to market-specific needs and key retail calendar moments.
  • Ensure retail activations contribute to the House’s client KPIs and objectives.
  • Conduct competitor monitoring to identify innovative practices and opportunities that can enrich the client activation portfolio and inform future projects.
  • Supervise an intern.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus five years of higher education (Bac +5) from a business school, university or equivalent.
  • Experience in cross-functional project coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills, rigor and ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Autonomy, proactivity and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit.
  • Creativity and sensitivity to client experience.
  • Fluent English.
  • Experience in a luxury, fashion or premium environment is an advantage.
