Christian Dior Couture seeks Facilities Manager in Mexico City. Oversee retail and corporate maintenance, suppliers, and budgets in this luxury fashion role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Identify, coordinate, and prioritize minor construction, maintenance, and repair projects for retail locations throughout Mexico
- Manage maintenance work and supervise contractor and supplier performance from vendor selection through project completion
- Administer contracts, solicit provider quotations, negotiate pricing and timelines, and execute contract agreements; manage the RFP process
- Manage budgets and financial forecasts, including travel expenses, to meet operational budgets and cost targets for Mexico region
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including store managers, operations managers, building owners, and property administrators
- Develop and maintain a centralized Repair and Maintenance tool for communication and tracking of all maintenance work requests
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for each store location
- Schedule and continuously review maintenance plans to achieve optimal facility standards
- Conduct regular store maintenance inspections to ensure selected vendor performance and identify emerging issues
- Monitor equipment inventory and place orders as necessary; maintain records, summaries, and fiscal evaluations of minor works and maintenance, and process invoices for payment
- Assist in developing long-term capital improvement plans, facility upgrades, repairs, and financial forecasting
- Monitor energy management systems, building cleaning services, and utilities
- Create tools and processes to improve overall facility maintenance operations
- Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and monitoring health and safety testing protocols and maintenance system contracts in compliance with current health and safety legislation
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of facilities maintenance experience
- Advanced English proficiency
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Strong analytical and project management capabilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with diplomacy in interactions with internal and external contacts
- Mature business judgment and ability to build confidence with senior management
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with computer systems and applications; capacity to learn new software quickly
- Availability for 25–30% travel
- Ability to operate effectively in a high-level luxury environment

Experience
Minimum 5 years of facilities maintenance experience, with demonstrated ability to manage complex multisite operations, vendor relationships, and preventive maintenance programs in a fast-paced, luxury environment.
