Six-month engineering internship at Parfums Christian Dior (Chartres, France) in production, continuous improvement, and Lean Manufacturing for final-year engineering students.
Role & Responsibilities
- Benchmark production standards and best practices across sister units (Perfume, Powders & Lipstick, Cosmetics Manufacturing) at the Orléans site to identify and adopt optimal standard implementation practices
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of current operations across multiple stakeholders to identify process dysfunctions and develop actionable improvement levers
- Establish a roadmap of fundamental production standards aligned with safety, business, and human-centered objectives
- Lead and execute continuous improvement projects including SMED, 5S, and value stream optimization initiatives
- Participate in daily performance improvement routines to identify, optimize, and create essential business processes
- Create, monitor, and analyze performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure consistent practice standardization across the production unit
- Drive awareness and adoption of deployed changes to ensure long-term sustainability of implemented solutions
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing final year of engineering degree with specialization in Industrial Engineering or Production Flow Management
- Demonstrated aptitude for change management and process optimization
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to synthesize complex information concisely
- Results-oriented mindset with affinity for Lean Manufacturing and performance optimization
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- Creative problem-solver with appetite for challenges and hands-on fieldwork

Experience
Entry-level; internship position targeted at final-year engineering students with limited or no professional experience. Enthusiasm for learning and initiative valued over prior work history.
Education
Currently enrolled in final year of engineering school (école d'ingénieur) with specialization in Industrial Engineering, Production Flow Management, or equivalent discipline.
