Christian Dior Couture in Paris seeks an Embroidery Studio Assistant (Internship) to assist couture embroidery development. Portfolio required; bilingual FR/EN.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare samples and prototypes for fittings, ensuring garments are production-ready and meet couture standards.
- Organize materials, embroidery bases and components for new development launches.
- Track deliveries and manage orders for embroidery supplies and components.
- Coordinate and liaise with external artisans, ateliers and suppliers to ensure timely execution.
- Research and propose new embroidery techniques, materials and surface treatments.
- Draft and maintain detailed technical sheets and documentation for embroidery designs.
- Support overall follow-up of embroidery development projects, timelines and launches.
- Create texture studies and technical renderings on garments using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Qualifications
- BA or MA in Fashion Design (or equivalent) with a valid internship agreement from current school, mandatory.
- Portfolio submission required — applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
- Fluency in French and English is essential; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Keen attention to detail and a quality-driven approach to workmanship.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator.

Entry-level — suitable for recent graduates or current students seeking an internship; prior professional experience in embroidery is not required but practical knowledge of hand or machine embroidery is advantageous.
