Christian Dior Couture in Paris seeks an Embroidery Studio Assistant (Internship) to support embroidery development, fittings and technical renderings. Portfolio required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare samples for fittings and ensure all prototypes are production‑ready.
- Organize materials, bases and components for new embroidery launches and maintain an orderly studio inventory.
- Monitor deliveries and manage orders for embroidery supplies and embellishment elements.
- Coordinate meetings and technical exchanges with external artisans, workshops and suppliers.
- Research and propose new embroidery techniques, motifs and materials to enrich development.
- Draft and maintain detailed technical sheets and documentation for each design and decoration.
- Assist in the overall follow‑up of embroidery development cycles and launch timelines.
- Create texture studies and technical renderings on garments using Photoshop and Illustrator.
Qualifications
- BA or MA degree in Fashion Design (valid internship agreement from current school mandatory).
- Compulsory submission of a portfolio demonstrating embroidery, embellishment or textile work.
- Fluency in French and English; Italian is an advantage.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise under tight deadlines.
- Keen attention to detail and a quality‑driven mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Entry‑level position suitable for current fashion students or recent graduates (Débutant). Prior exposure to textile embellishment, studio procedures or atelier internships is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
BA or MA in Fashion Design. A valid internship placement agreement from the candidate's educational institution is required.
