Christian Dior Couture hiring Embroidery Planning Manager in Paris. Lead embroidery supply chain and production scheduling for luxury ready-to-wear collections.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyse embroidery specifications in current collections in coordination with the studio and product development team, following a predefined timeline; verify industrial feasibility, reproducibility, and grading management with embroidery partners and external suppliers, developing action plans as needed
- Verify material and component lead times with embroiderers and Dior procurement; confirm embroidery production timelines and anticipate potential delays or technical constraints
- Develop initial delivery schedules at gate zero in alignment with material procurement; negotiate timelines according to finished product delivery requirements
- Regularly coordinate with finished product planning to pilot production launches; share supply chain visibility with embroiderers and manage prioritization of fine-tuning efforts based on business objectives
- Maintain and communicate planning updates to the finished product planning team; proactively identify and resolve production risks, bottlenecks, and technical issues
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with the engineering bureau to align fine-tuning priorities with business imperatives; ensure adherence to quality standards and delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of confirmed experience in production, scheduling, launch management, and luxury ready-to-wear planning
- Demonstrated expertise in textile industrial flows and production constraints; embroidery-specific experience a strong asset
- Proficiency with Anaplan, Power BI, and SAP systems
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong anticipation and reactive problem-solving capabilities
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- Commitment to team collaboration, service orientation, and deadline adherence
