Christian Dior Couture seeks an Editorial Copywriter in Paris to craft English editorial and commercial copy across collections and channels.
Role & Responsibilities
- Write and edit English-language press releases for Women’s, Men’s and Couture collections, Haute Jewellery, Baby Dior and Dior Home, preserving Dior’s tone and savoir-faire.
- Create and refine editorial and commercial copy for newsletters, dior.com, social media (organic and paid) and Dior Magazine, ensuring clarity and brand consistency across formats.
- Partner closely with the French copywriting team to align tone of voice, terminology and editorial approach across languages.
- Lead and mentor a small team of writers, maintaining high editorial standards and consistency of language and terminology.
- Commission, conduct and shape in-depth interviews and features with VIPs, craftspeople, artists and Creative Directors, demonstrating cultural insight and narrative rigour.
- Edit and proofread all English content in accordance with Dior’s editorial guidelines, ensuring precision, elegance and technical accuracy.
- Coordinate internal approval workflows, translations and final proofreading with cross-functional teams.
- Review and adapt French-to-English translations, preserving nuance, technical detail and editorial sophistication.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years’ experience in editorial writing, press, publishing or communications within a major luxury fashion or lifestyle brand; six years preferred.
- University degree in literature, communications, journalism or a related discipline.
- Native-level English; fluent or proficient French.
- Outstanding writing and editorial judgement with a distinct creative point of view.
- Deep knowledge of fashion history, garment construction, materials and technical fashion language.
- Proven experience conducting high-level interviews and translating dialogue into compelling editorial features.
- Highly organised, rigorous, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines while safeguarding editorial quality.

Experience
Minimum five years' editorial experience in luxury fashion, communications or publishing; proven track record writing press and digital copy and leading small editorial teams. Experience of high-level interviews and cross‑language collaboration is essential.
Education
University degree in literature, communications, journalism or a related field.
