Parfums Christian Dior seeks a Distribution Centre Manager in Orléans, France to lead warehouse operations, automation projects and a 250‑person team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end operations of the International Distribution Centre in Orléans, ensuring On Time / In Full delivery for B2B and B2C channels across Europe and globally.
  • Manage, coach and develop a multidisciplinary workforce of approximately 250 employees (operators, technicians, managers), fostering safety, engagement and skills development.
  • Ensure site safety and employee well‑being through structured, field‑level leadership and continuous improvement of working conditions.
  • Drive modernization and automation programmes (robotics, AGV, transstockeurs), oversee WMS/WCS performance and maintenance, and optimise system uptime and throughput.
  • Spearhead the Delta project and other major change initiatives, including the 2027 opening of an external European warehouse, ensuring successful transition and integration.
  • Continuously analyse and improve logistics processes from inbound to dispatch to reduce lead times, enhance quality and eliminate low‑value tasks using lean principles.
  • Provide accurate operational reporting and KPI tracking to senior stakeholders, translating complex data into strategic actions and priorities.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent (Bac +5) or comparable technical qualification.
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience managing an automated warehouse or automated production facility, including responsibility for teams of 100+ people.
  • Demonstrated expertise with warehouse management and control systems (WMS, WCS) and familiarity with warehouse automation technologies (robotics, AGV, transstockeurs).
  • Solid knowledge of the broader logistics ecosystem: transport, customs, supply & distribution planning.
  • Proven track record of delivering large‑scale logistics or automation projects and managing complex change programmes.
  • Fluent in French and professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Experience

Minimum five years' progressive experience in warehouse or production operations with automation; demonstrated people management of large teams (100+); experience delivering automation or large‑scale logistics projects and operational transformation.

Master's degree in engineering or equivalent (Bac +5).
