Christian Dior Couture seeks a Director, Marketing & Special Projects — Americas in New York to lead regional marketing strategy, partnerships and in‑store experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for the Americas that elevate brand perception and support retail sales growth.
  • Own narrative and seasonal storytelling for key moments and product launches, defining hero products, messaging and creative direction.
  • Build and lead the regional master marketing calendar, aligning global, regional and local functions and activations.
  • Identify, negotiate and manage strategic partnerships, cultural programming and institutional collaborations to increase cultural relevance and visibility.
  • Translate marketing concepts into elevated in‑store and client experiences in partnership with retail and client teams, including events and HOD programming for priority markets.
  • Lead and deliver high‑impact special projects across the region, coordinating cross‑functional stakeholders and external agencies.
  • Hire, develop and mentor the regional marketing team; delegate responsibilities and foster professional growth.
  • Collaborate closely with global communications and creative teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and implementation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive marketing experience within luxury fashion or premium lifestyle brands, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven track record in brand storytelling, partnership development, event execution and management of multi‑channel special projects.
  • Strong commercial sensibility with experience translating marketing into measurable retail and client outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills; ability to influence peers and external partners.
  • Proven ability to manage complex calendars, prioritize competing demands and make autonomous decisions in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the Americas.
