Role & Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system in collaboration with IT teams, managing taxonomy, metadata, and access controls to maximize operational efficiency
- Oversee the import, indexing, and quality assurance of editorial assets within the DAM platform
- Coordinate with asset-producing teams across the organization to ensure consistent and timely DAM population, particularly for editorial collections
- Provide comprehensive user training and technical support to DAM end-users across departments
- Develop and implement archival and long-term digital preservation policies to ensure data security and integrity
- Establish and monitor strategies for digital asset acquisition aligned with the Maison's strategic objectives
- Supervise the enrichment and development of digital collections, ensuring compliance with professional standards and internal guidelines
- Formulate and propose digital strategies for heritage valorization and dissemination in accordance with corporate objectives
- Identify technological innovation opportunities—including AI applications—to improve digital collection management and access
- Participate in cross-functional working groups and strategic committees to facilitate information sharing and collaborative initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree (Bac +5) in digital heritage management, digital humanities, information sciences, archival studies, museology, or equivalent discipline
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a comparable role, with demonstrated expertise in digital project management and digital asset stewardship
- Expert-level proficiency with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems and metadata management frameworks
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital file formats and digital preservation standards
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools and their applications in digital collections management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English, with ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven capacity to analyze complex situations, identify innovative solutions, and implement them effectively
- Strong project management competencies, including planning, monitoring, and evaluation
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and facilitate cross-functional partnerships
