Christian Dior Couture seeks an Assistant Boutique Manager in Beijing's Daxing District to lead sales, customer experience, and team development.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage and control boutique sales performance in subordination to the Boutique Manager
  • Maintain ultimate luxury store ambience both inside and outside according to Dior standards, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Act as a brand ambassador and represent Dior's brand image consistently
  • Execute Visual Merchandising guidelines to enhance collection prestige and merchandise display
  • Support high-value sales interactions with key VIP customers under Boutique Manager direction
  • Direct customers toward sales representatives and category owners with refinement
  • Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge across all categories and actively coach team members
  • Manage difficult customer situations in line with company standards and procedures
  • Lead customer reception and welcome protocols to ensure warm, elegant service standards
  • Develop special relationships of trust with clients to build brand recognition and loyalty
  • Support the Boutique Manager in maintaining and expanding a dense network of potential customers
  • Maintain expert knowledge of established customers and anticipate their product preferences
  • Manage and maintain the clienteling database and ensure full CRM system utilization by the team
  • Organize client invitations to key image events, in-store events, and trunk shows
  • Participate in team recruitment initiatives under Boutique Manager guidance
  • Organize integration and training programs for new team members
  • Guarantee team presentation standards: body language, verbal communication, behavior, uniform compliance, makeup, hairstyle, and zoning adherence
  • Define and control the distribution of tasks and assignments within the team
  • Implement and monitor work schedules to balance resources with store traffic and ensure optimal presentation
  • Assist the Boutique Manager in defining objectives, priorities, and KPIs aligned with action plans
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations with focus on action plan delivery
  • Hold daily briefings to convey energy and focus teams on objectives and targets
  • Observe team performance in the field and organize regular sales representative coaching sessions
  • Identify training needs and enroll team members in appropriate training modules
  • Monitor knowledge acquisition, technique mastery, and behavioral changes; refocus teams as necessary
  • Provide constructive feedback and evaluations to the Boutique Manager
  • Ensure proper maintenance and usage of the boutique physical property
  • Ensure all boutique administrative, finance, and accounting aspects align with company procedures and guidelines
  • Guarantee optimal inventory organization and tidy storage conditions
  • Organize regular cycle inventory counts for all product categories according to established protocols
  • Ensure damage goods are properly controlled and managed
  • Ensure proper application of cash desk procedures and compliance with legal, fiscal, and customs regulations
  • Consolidate and analyze boutique reports and provide timely feedback to the Boutique Manager
  • Analyze and communicate POS data and competitor information to relevant stakeholders
  • Keep the team informed of latest directions and focus from the Boutique Manager

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of luxury retail experience as Assistant Boutique Manager or equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills
  • Distinctive service orientation and refined customer sense
  • Sound business acumen and fashion sense
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and POS data analysis
  • Thorough understanding of luxury retail standards and brand representation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead by example
