Christian Dior Couture seeks a Deputy Department Manager, Menswear in London (New Bond Street). Lead sales, client development and team performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Department Manager in achieving sales and operational targets for the Menswear department while ensuring full compliance with company policies.
- Lead by example on the sales floor: coach, mentor and train advisors to elevate service techniques and conversion rates.
- Develop and implement local client development strategies to recruit and retain VVIC and Elite clients; drive cross-selling across product universes.
- Organise daily team activities, delegate responsibilities and support recruitment, evaluation and development of staff.
- Manage stock processes as required, minimise losses and control store operating expenses through rigorous adherence to procedures.
- Maintain impeccable visual and housekeeping standards within the department and ensure all security and loss-prevention measures are enforced.
- Liaise with Head Office to provide feedback on clientele and product performance and represent the House at client or PR events when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' retail experience with prior responsibility at Assistant Manager or equivalent level within luxury fashion.
- Deep product knowledge of men's ready-to-wear, footwear and accessories.
- Proven track record of recruiting clients and developing long-term customer relationships, particularly with high-value clientele.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and motivate an experienced sales team.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience meeting and improving sales metrics and departmental KPIs.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in a second language preferred.

Experience
At least 5 years in luxury retail with prior Assistant Manager or similar supervisory experience; demonstrable success in team leadership, client acquisition and achieving commercial targets within menswear.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; tertiary qualification in retail management, fashion or a related discipline preferred.
