Christian Dior Couture seeks a Deputy Department Manager, Jewelry & Watches in Dubai to support sales, stock and team leadership at Dubai Mall.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Department Manager in day-to-day operations of the Jewelry & Watches department, ensuring adherence to company procedures for ordering, transfers and stock replenishment.
- Monitor daily sales performance versus targets and implement corrective actions to achieve monthly and annual objectives; provide regular performance reports and attend management meetings.
- Co-develop and optimise stock level strategies and purchase plans in coordination with area managers and merchandising teams.
- Coach, mentor and engage the sales team through regular one-to-one meetings, training sessions and performance reviews to sustain high standards of customer service and salesmanship.
- Coordinate and execute in-store marketing activities and events (e.g., trunk shows, product launches) together with suppliers, merchandising and marketing partners.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, logistics and merchandising teams during store openings, closures and renovations to ensure seamless operations.
- Drive CRM initiatives for the department, ensuring Dior Know compliance, full contactability and adherence to OTO scheduling and individual OTO targets.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years' experience in luxury retail, with proven supervisory or assistant-manager responsibilities—ideally within jewelry and/or watches.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and executing stock/purchase plans in a high-end retail environment.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities with experience conducting one-to-one mentoring and performance management.
- Excellent clienteling and customer-service orientation; capacity to resolve complex client issues and foster loyalty.
- Commercial numeracy and organisational skills required for stock optimisation, reporting and event coordination.

Experience
Minimum five years in luxury retail with supervisory experience; prior exposure to jewelry and/or watches sales, stock planning and CRM-driven clienteling is required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management, luxury management or a related field preferred.
