Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Boutique Manager in achieving and surpassing boutique sales targets through daily business follow-ups and sales briefings.
- Monitor and analyse retail KPIs — including sales turnover, conversion, average transaction value and units per transaction — to identify performance opportunities.
- Lead client development initiatives by cultivating relationships with high-value clients and VIPs, promoting appointments, private presentations and bespoke outreach.
- Coach, motivate and develop boutique staff; ensure clarity of targets, conduct performance reviews and participate in recruitment and onboarding.
- Oversee daily boutique operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory accuracy, cash handling and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain luxury presentation standards and visual merchandising consistency across the boutique.
- Act as the primary point of responsibility for the boutique in the absence of the Boutique Manager and coordinate with regional HR, Retail Operations and Merchandising teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in luxury retail with demonstrated supervisory or management responsibility.
- Proven track record of driving sales performance and achieving KPI targets in a high-end retail environment.
- Strong leadership and team coaching capability with experience conducting performance reviews and staff development.
- Client-centric approach with demonstrated experience in clienteling and high-value relationship management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, sound decision-making and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Operational proficiency in inventory control, cash handling procedures and boutique compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with retail reporting tools/CRM systems.
Skills
Experience
Minimum five years’ experience in luxury retail, including prior supervisory or management roles with demonstrable success in sales leadership, KPI delivery and team development.
Education
Secondary education required; bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, marketing or a related discipline is advantageous.
