Christian Dior Couture seeks a Deputy Boutique Manager in Amsterdam to lead sales, client development and team coaching in-store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Boutique Manager in day-to-day leadership and overall boutique operations, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
- Drive sales development through proactive client acquisition, clienteling, public relations and loyalty initiatives; monitor and act on sales performance daily.
- Develop and maintain a high-quality client network; represent the brand at in-store and external events to enhance local visibility.
- Use KPI reporting and sales analysis to identify opportunities and recommend initiatives to increase conversion and average transaction value.
- Oversee merchandising standards including window execution, visual displays and stock levels to optimise product presentation and availability.
- Coach, train and develop the sales team; set and monitor individual sales targets and support competency development on the shop floor.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and security procedures; resolve operational issues affecting service, efficiency or productivity.
- Lead regular store meetings to communicate performance, product knowledge and merchandising priorities; produce regular operational reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years' experience managing a luxury retail store or in a retail team management role.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional service to high-net-worth and demanding clients.
- Deep understanding of the local market and client segmentation, with strong commercial acumen.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational and coaching skills; decisive and initiative-driven.
- Fluency in Dutch and English; additional languages are an advantage.

Experience
Minimum 5 years managing or supervising within a luxury retail environment, with demonstrable success in sales development, client network building and team leadership.
Education
Secondary education required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management, fashion or a related field preferred.
