Christian Dior seeks a Department Manager - Ready-to-Wear in Dubai to lead sales, operations, and team performance at Mall of Emirates.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead sales and operations functions for ready-to-wear product categories to achieve sales targets and business objectives
- Implement action plans to develop sales performance for designated product categories and client segments
- Develop and execute top client strategy for the department while supporting Be Dior and Dior Stars initiatives
- Conduct monthly coaching and counseling sessions with employees; oversee annual performance appraisal processes
- Monitor individual productivity, cross-selling, and client development; implement corrective action when performance standards are not met
- Manage inventory accuracy and establish quantitative inventory control targets
- Maintain thorough knowledge and enforce all policies, procedures, and security protocols across the team
- Attract, recruit, and retain a high-performing team through networking and competitive market analysis
- Ensure consistent implementation of Christian Dior Visual Standards and brand presentation
- Work with management on strategic planning, delegation, and workflow optimization
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of retail experience, preferably with at least 2 years in a management capacity within a luxury environment
- Deep knowledge of the luxury retail industry and fashion sensitivity
- Strong understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and ability to strategize when performance standards are not met
- Demonstrated initiative and commercial creativity
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, organizational, and management skills
